Film workshop

You want to submit a film for Gib Mir 5! but still need a little help or inspiration for the film idea, shooting or editing?

At our film workshop on February 22 and 23, 2025, we offer you the opportunity to improve your film skills. Two film mediators from the Kurzfilm Schule will show and explain to you what is important in film.

We will:
– Watch film examples and analyze elements of a film
– Brainstorm and discuss film ideas
– Do practical shooting exercises with camera and sound
– Practice editing and montage with the free editing program Shotcut

In two days you will get concentrated knowledge and practical tips to be well prepared to shoot your own film after the workshop. On Saturday, 22.2. we will meet at the Mo&Friese premises from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and continue on Sunday, 23.2. from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Film enthusiasts aged 10 to 15 can take part. Participation is free of charge and you can register here. Places will be allocated according to the order of registration.
